The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Low Observables Mission Systems Integration Engineer to lead a team of engineers in support of the design and integration of an advanced next generation platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low observable technologies and systems integration, with a focus on antennas and apertures. This role requires technical leadership and collaboration across various engineering disciplines to ensure the successful integration of low observable systems into advanced platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of low observable mission systems, ensuring compliance with design and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integration strategies for antennas and apertures.
  • Utilize computational electromagnetic solvers to analyze and optimize low observable designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the design and integration of low observable platforms, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Stay current with advancements in low observable materials and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance system performance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Knowledge of Basic Electromagnetic Principles: Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and its application in low observable systems.
  • Experience with Low Observable Integration: Proven experience in the integration of antennas and apertures in low observable platforms.
  • Computational Electromagnetic Solvers: Proficiency in using computational tools for electromagnetic analysis and design.
  • Technical Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Antenna Design and Integration: In-depth knowledge of antenna design principles and integration techniques.
  • Low Observable Platforms: Experience in the design and integration of low observable platforms, including familiarity with relevant materials and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Candidates may be based out of either Tukwila, WA or Berkeley, MO. This position, if based in Tukwila, will be a union represented position. If based in Berkeley, it is a non-union position.

Summary pay range: $118,150 - $171,350
