Hunter Bond is seeking a Network Engineer to join an elite trading firm in New York. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing high-frequency trading networks, as well as designing cloud integrations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of network experience, strong knowledge of Cisco and Arista, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms. The position offers a competitive salary of $150,000-$250,000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of network experience, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco / Arista.
• Some Linux experience.
• Multicast experience highly desirable (PIM, IGMP etc.).
• BGP / OSPF experience.
• Experience within VXLAN / EVPN overlay tech.
• Virtualisation experience (VMware, KVM, Proxmox etc.).
• VPN configuration.
• Network automation experience useful (Python, Ansible).
• Experience working within AWS, GCP or Azure useful.
