Job summary

Blutic in New York City seeks a Java Developer with hands-on experience in building high-performance, low-latency applications. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

You'll work with SQL databases, perform performance tuning, and implement TDD-driven unit and integration tests while embracing OOP, design patterns, and Agile practices in a cross-functional Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Java development experience with Spring framework.
• Experience in high-performance, low-latency Java applications.
• Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Experience with TDD, unit and integration tests.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and architecture.
• Experience in Investment Banking / Financial Services.
• Familiar with FIX Protocol and trading/risk systems.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Agile/Scrum environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Build applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Work with SQL databases and perform database performance tuning.
• Develop robust unit and integration tests following TDD practices.
• Design and optimize multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and contribute to system optimization.
• Apply OOP, design patterns, and sound architectural principles.
