Qualifications

• At least 2 years of coding in Core Java for low latency systems.
• Experience with messaging and market data tech like Kafka or Solace.
• Hands-on with Chronicle/Aeron for high-speed messaging.
• Proven ability to build backtesting/data storage for algo trading.
• Strong Linux performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with no-GC Java techniques and lock-free patterns.
• Experience with Python, Spring, TDD, and tick data storages.
• Build tools: Gradle, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable algo trading engines focused on low latency execution.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and performance of core components.
• Collaborate with trading/quants to support live trading.
• Maintain large codebase, improve design and quality of algo strategies.
• Partner with business to push technology beyond near-term goals.
• Adhere to engineering standards and deliver best-in-class solutions.
