Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a LOTO Coordinator to supervise daily field crew activities and ensure adherence to the Faith LOTO Policy/Process.

The role requires completing an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) and traveling 60-75% with a work schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. You will lead small electrical teams, manage materials, and execute LOTO audits while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Work Schedule: 6 am–6 pm, Mon–Fri; may include nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Runs small projects (2–5 electricians) effectively
  • Establishes expectations and motivates crews to meet or beat goals
  • Completes projects on time, within budget, and safely
  • Maintains paperwork (foreman logs, evaluations, PO logs, timecards)
  • Manages materials and as-built documentation
  • Coordinates locking out, releasing lock outs, energizations and re-energizations
  • Trains Faith employees and other trades in the Faith LOTO Program
  • Performs LOTO audits and ensures proper execution of the program
  • Maintains safety procedures, conducts toolbox talks and safety audits
  • Keeps HR/project management informed for corrective actions

The LOTO Coordinator is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of field crews and ensuring the Faith LOTO Policy/Process is adhered to by all.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
  • Travel: 60-75%
  • Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates ability to run small projects (2-5 electricians) effectively
  • Establish expectations and motivates crews to consistently meet or beat goals
  • Consistently completes projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner
  • Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, timecards, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates ability to obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively and develop as built documentation
  • Effectively manages resources (tools, equipment, staffing)
  • Perform LOTO audits, ensure the Faith LOTO Program is executed appropriately and accurately
  • Train and Mentor Faith employees and other trades in the Faith LOTO Program
  • Coordinate activities for locking out, releasing lock outs, Energizations and Re-Energizations
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct effective face-to-face evaluations with field crews
  • Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.)
  • Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and/or project management to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken and documentation completed
  • Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques
  • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the buildings power system that he or she is tasked with overseeing
  • Be able to focus and see through numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrates a higher knowledge of electrical prints and how to identify redundancies
  • Has proven that they will always uphold the Faith safety culture
  • Be the go-to contact for all trades on the building and coordinate the upcoming tasks
  • Breaks the job down into daily and weekly goals and determines appropriate deployment of resources and/or materials.
  • Demonstrates ability to do advanced paperwork (i.e., Implementation & Release of LOTO)
  • Has experience with complex and/or technical installations
  • Keeps technical aptitude current
  • Assist in coordinating activities for locking out, releasing lock outs, Energizations and De-Energizations
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
