Family Car Group seeks a results-focused Porter/Sales Assistant to support Sales Consultants by handling tasks essential to the sales process without closing the sale. You will keep demos ready, move vehicles from inventory, and ensure showroom preparedness.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to drive a manual transmission, and a friendly, team-oriented service mindset to assist clients and colleagues daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License with insurability and ability to drive a standard transmission.
• Strong customer service and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Keep demos prepared to show customers.
• Pull cars from inventory as needed.
• Fill deliveries or demos with gas.
• Wash cars when required.
• Deliver sold inventory to prep center.
• Maintain showroom readiness and overall inventory.
• Transport cars to clients or offsite locations.
• Support monthly physical inventory and attend department meetings.

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Porter. The Porter assists the Sales Consultants through the sales process by performing tasks essential to producing results, while not actually closing the sale.

Job Responsibilities

• Keeps demos prepared to show
• Pulls cars from inventory when needed
• Fills deliveries or demos with gas
• Washes cars if needed
• Takes sold inventory to make ready/prep center
• Keeps all cars showroom ready
• Maintains inventory
• Transports cars to clients or to offsite locations for additional work
• Helps perform physical inventory monthly
• Attends weekly department meetings as appropriate
