Prosper Ford in Prosper, TX is seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant/Porter to keep our vehicle lot organized and showroom-ready. You will prep vehicles, assist with deliveries, and ensure accurate tagging and decals.

Responsabilidades

• Stock new and used vehicles on delivery/trade.
• Program vehicles into the key machine.
• Clear customer parking and arrange lot by model.
• Audit the lot for pre-delivery inspections or fueling needs.
• Pickup vehicles from other dealerships or customers when needed.
• Coordinate with management for inventory support.
• Place window decals/Buyer’s Guides on vehicles and tag frames on all units.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stocking in new and used vehicles upon Delivery/Trade.
• Programing New and Used vehicles into the key machine
• Clearing Customer parking
• Arranging lot by model
• Auditing the vehicle lot for any cars not completed for predelivery inspection or in need of Gasoline or Recharge.
• Picking up vehicles from other dealerships, on occasion picking up Customers.
• Checking in with the Management team for any assistance concerning inventory/lot.
• Placing Window Decals/Buyer’s Guides on used vehicles.
• Placing Tag Frames On new and Used vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver's License: With a clean driving record. You'll be moving vehicles around the lot and occasionally picking up customers or vehicles from other locations.
• Physical Stamina: This job can be physically demanding, as it often involves walking, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting and moving vehicles or car accessories.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Occasionally, porters may encounter issues with vehicles or other tasks that require quick thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Keeping the vehicle lot organized and arranging vehicles by model or other criteria may require strong organizational skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is essential for maintaining the appearance of the vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are clean and organized, and placing tags and decals accurately.
• Dependability: Reliability and punctuality are vital in this role to ensure that vehicles are ready for customers and the lot is well-maintained.
