Job summary

Mossy Automotive Group in Chula Vista is seeking a Lot Attendant / Porter to assist with vehicle management and ensure smooth traffic flow within the dealership. In this role, you'll park and retrieve client vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for delivery.

Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a valid California driver’s license. Benefits include medical and retirement plans, along with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve client vehicles as notified by management.
• Inspect vehicles for any damage before delivery.
• Maintain the vehicle lots in an orderly fashion.
• Drive vehicles as needed to various locations in the dealership.
• Provide excellent customer service.

The Lot Attendant / Porter moves and parks client vehicles in a manner that will ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility to increase client convenience and satisfaction.

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate - $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the clients vehicle as notified by Management
• Inspecting each vehicle to be delivered for lot damage that may have occurred during or before delivery
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Providing excellent customer service
