Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Lot Associate to assist customers with loading vehicles, monitor the store entrance, and keep carts organized. This role interacts with customers and associates, with customer service playing a vital part of daily duties.

You will be the first and last associate customers encounter when entering or leaving the store, so a friendly, helpful attitude and reliable performance are essential to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Customer-service oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Able to lift and move heavy carts and merchandise.
• Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather.

Lot Associates assist customers with the loading of their vehicles and also monitor and maintain the entrance of the store. Lot Associates also are responsible for maintaining a sufficient quantity of carts near the entrance of the store. This position interacts with Home Depot associates and customers. Because the Lot Associate is often the first and last associate to interact with customers as they enter or leave the store, customer service plays a vital role in this position. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and excellent customer service skills are required.
