Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Loss Prevention Supervisor for our Brownsburg, Indiana DC. You will lead loss prevention, physical security and safety programs, and supervise security personnel to protect assets and reduce shrink.

Responsibilities include training LP staff, coordinating with facilities and safety teams, and engaging with local agencies as needed. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; prior DC operations and LP knowledge highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience is required.
• Knowledge of Distribution Center operations is preferred.
• Ability and desire to learn Loss Prevention, physical security and safety regulations.
• Ability and desire to learn Investigations/interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly associates in the implementation and execution of all loss prevention, physical security and safety programs within the DC.
• Provide supervision of onsite and offsite Contract Security Officers.
• Ensure shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit, security programs, trailer and seal control.
• Secure facility and its associates during emergencies and labor-related concerns and events.
• Provide training of LP associates within the building to ensure technical and professional development.
• Develop fire/safety programs to ensure compliance with company insurance, OSHA and NFPA guidelines.

Job Description

The Distribution Center Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for the Loss Prevention, Physical Security and Fire Safety Programs within the DC, training and development, and works in partnership with Operations management to protect company assets and resolve shrink related issues.

Responsibilities Include And Are Not Limited To

• Lead hourly associates in the implementation and execution of all loss prevention, physical security and safety programs within the DC
• Provide supervision of onsite and offsite Contract Security Officers
• Ensure all shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit, security programs, trailer and seal control
• Secure facility and its associates during emergencies and labor-related concerns and events
• Provide training of LP associates within the building to ensure technical and professional development
• Develop, in conjunction with the facilities management and DC Occupational Health and Safety staff, fire/safety programs to ensure compliance with company insurance, OSHA and NFPA guidelines
• Develop highly trained and competent hourly staff for future business needs
• Develop relationships with outside agencies, local police, fire departments, insurance companies and external security agencies
• Lead respective team through all investigations within the DC
• Perform special projects as assigned

This position has a starting salary range of $61,000.00 to $82,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
