Job summary

Niemann Foods is seeking a Loss Prevention Agent to deter theft and protect store assets across area stores. The role uses store security systems to monitor operations and respond to incidents, ensuring a safe, customer-friendly environment.

The position emphasizes integrity, reliability, and the ability to work with law enforcement and store leadership. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior security or military training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience.
• Completed or in process of completing college/technical study in criminal justice or law enforcement.
• Military security training or related work experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Looks for and may assist in investigating potential internal Associate theft.
• Responds to emergencies or disturbances threatening store, customers, or Associates.
• Apprehension and arrest of shoplifters.
• Completes detailed reports.
• Observes customer and Associate actions to ensure safety.
• Keeps management informed of security concerns.
• Coordinates with law enforcement as needed.
• Follows company security policies and procedures.
• Completes required training (use of force, first aid, first responder).
