Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to help identify and prevent loss while maintaining safe store environments. You will investigate guest-related incidents, partner with store leadership and Asset Protection teams, and gather evidence to support investigations.

The role emphasizes strong observation, decision-making, and professional interaction with guests, associates, and law enforcement as needed, with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy in reporting.

• Ability to recognize suspicious activity, safety concerns, and potential loss.
• Confidence interacting professionally with a variety of individuals, including guests, associates, leadership, and law enforcement.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and detailed reports.
• Ability to gather, review, and organize information and evidence accurately.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and manage guest-related loss and safety concerns using data, technology, and resources.
• Respond to incidents and support investigations with store teams and Asset Protection professionals.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and investigation reports; maintain supporting documentation and evidence.
• Submit reports to management and/or law enforcement; maintain confidentiality in sensitive investigations.
