Job summary

SupportFinity is seeking a full-time Loss Prevention Officer for Sioux Falls, SD. You will identify and apprehend shoplifters through floor patrol and CCTV, write reports, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

This role requires clear English communication and offers a 40-hour work week with benefits, including insurance, a 401(k) and PTO. Immediate opening with paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports.
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts; tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apprehension of shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV
• Report writing
• Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide court room testimony as required
