Job Description - Overview

The Loss Prevention Department for Hobby Lobby is currently seeking a full-time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent to help protect our stores. This role focuses on undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters. The position requires prior undercover and floor walking experience.

Must have previous undercover, floor walking Loss Prevention experience!

As an LP Agent, your primary focus is to provide undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters. No risk management, safety, door greeting, alarms, audits or inventory responsibilities.

• Review BOLOs
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgement
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• At least one year of prior undercover, floor walking loss prevention experience
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
• Strong communication skills
• Motor vehicle record check
• Background check
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing or walking

Compensation

• Starting wage range: $26.50 to $27.50 per hour (per Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
• Christmas bonus (gift) if employed on certain date
