What We Do

We evaluate applications, renewals, re-pricings, restrictions, and cancellations to determine risk acceptability and coverage. We accurately calculate borrowers’ income and expenses, manage caseloads from application to modification, update system records and investor portals, and operate in accordance with standard procedures and all relevant regulations. Our focus is on providing quality service and improving customer experience without unwarranted delays or defaults.

What You'll Do

  1. Review and evaluate policy applications, renewals, re-pricings, restrictions, and cancellations for risk acceptability and coverage.
  2. Assess loss mitigation packages to determine homeowner qualification for options, and report findings to relevant parties.
  3. Educate homeowners about loan modification programs, forbearance, repayment plans, short sales, and deeds in lieu.
  4. Calculate income, expenses, and escrow advances following guidelines.
  5. Order and review title searches, BPO/AVM, and appraisals as applicable.
  6. Implement loan modifications, forbearances, repayment terms, short sales, and deeds in lieu per guidelines.
  7. Review marketing strategies and resolve counter offers for short sales.
  8. Manage foreclosure holds, loss mitigation requests, and file declines as directed.
  9. Prepare and send necessary documentation and correspondence.
  10. Monitor plans and update systems accordingly.
  11. Handle inbound calls, follow up on requests, and communicate with homeowners and agents.
  12. Manage caseloads and correspondence with all stakeholders.
  13. Follow processes, troubleshoot, and suggest improvements.
  14. Contribute actively to team goals and objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mortgage collections, loss mitigation, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing systems (Black Knight MSP preferred).
  • Understanding of CFPB and FDCPA guidelines preferred.
  • Risk assessment skills, organizational ability, and strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships.

Salary Range: $23.80 - $31.80 Hourly

This range reflects the estimated base pay at posting, influenced by knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
