This Loss Control Field Inspector role involves reviewing requirements, scheduling inspections, and performing on-site evaluations of commercial, residential, and farm properties. You'll assess HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and liability factors, capture photos, take measurements, and document findings in Loss Control 360 with Rapid

Qualifications

3–5 years of commercial insurance loss control inspection experience.
Knowledge of Commercial property, General liability, and Workers’ compensation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel within a 50‑mile radius.
Comfortable with online reporting systems and document uploads.

Responsibilities

Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
Contact the insured to schedule appointments via phone, email, or text.
Conduct on-site evaluations of properties (commercial, residential, agricultural).
Assess building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), fire protection and life safety, maintenance and liability exposures.
Capture 20–35 interior and exterior photos per structure and take measurements.
Update inspection status and complete reports using Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch.
