Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) in Los Angeles seeks a dedicated Protector to join our security team protecting high-profile clients. You will monitor property, screen access, coordinate security plans, respond to emergencies, and provide secure transport and on-site protection during client visits and travel.

Applicants with military experience are encouraged; we offer a 12-day Intro Training Academy in San Antonio, TX, physical readiness testing, background check, and a robust 401k plan

Qualifications

• Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Military-experienced candidates welcomed.
• Must be able to obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property while utilizing the tools and technology of a GDBA Command Center
• Screen visitors and vendors; control all access to protected site
• Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients’ homes and when they travel
• Provide secure transportation as needed
• Survey and prepare (advance) locations prior to arrival of client
• Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity
• Create and maintain readiness to meet any threat
