Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) – LoopNet
Location: Irvine, CA. Work arrangement: 4 days on‑site, 1 day remote. Join LoopNet as a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise web applications serving over 10 million users.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise applications using software design principles/patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
- Write unit‑testable software in C#.
- Develop an in‑depth understanding of CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks; maintain and contribute to the product platform as needed.
- Develop database stored procedures and SQL scripts that meet CoStar database standards to implement product requirements.
- Participate and drive continuous improvement within CoStar’s Agile/Scrum teams.
- Build consensus among different teams working on software development projects.
- Facilitate discussions among peer .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvements.
- Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
- 7+ years of production‑development experience with .NET or .NET Core.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies (file storage, data storage, search, cache), Apache Kafka.
- Frontend working knowledge of Vue, React, or Angular with TypeScript.
- Demonstrable track record of building and launching enterprise products/platforms.
- Develop products that meet specifications and performance SLAs; experience in unit, performance, and integration tests.
- Experience with Git‑based workflows.
- Deep understanding of enterprise application business logic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in relational database design (MS SQL or MySQL) including performance optimization and NoSQL design.
- Application security knowledge.
- Leverage AI coding tools for development, refactoring, and debugging (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent).

- Base salary range: $124,000–$187,000 (based on relevant skills and experience).
