Job summary

The Boring Company in Las Vegas is hiring a Vegas Loop Driver to operate Tesla vehicles within the Vegas Loop tunnels and on Las Vegas streets.

You will ensure safety, follow procedures, deliver excellent customer service, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

The role offers a base pay of $20–$23 per hour, a flexible schedule, provided vehicle and uniform, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Professional Driver.
• Able to drive Tesla vehicles.
• Willing to pass DOT drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate provided Tesla vehicles in Vegas Loop tunnels and on the streets of Las Vegas.
• Learn and execute standard and emergency operating procedures.
• Respond promptly to visual and audio instructions.
• Follow protocols calmly during emergencies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every passenger.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections for cleanliness and damages.

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. In Las Vegas, The Boring Company has created the Vegas Loop, which connects the Convention Center to hotel resorts, with a connection to the airport opening soon.

As a Vegas Loop Driver, you will drive passengers in Tesla vehicles, through the Vegas Loop tunnels and on the streets of Las Vegas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate provided Tesla vehicles in Vegas Loop tunnels and on the street of Las Vegas
• Learn and execute standard and emergency operating procedures
• Ability to quickly respond to visual and audio instructions
• Follow protocols in a calm manner during unexpected situations and/or emergencies
• Provide exceptional customer service and experience to every passenger
• Perform routine vehicle inspections for cleanliness and damages

Compensation and Perks

• $20-$23/HR

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid United States Driver’s License
• Possess a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to Pass a DOT Drug and Alcohol Test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs or ramps
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
