Maya Home Care, a boutique PCA/Companion agency, seeks HHA certified caregivers to provide personal care and companionship to clients across New Jersey. You will help with daily living activities and monitor clients’ well-being in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey.
• Experience in home care or related field preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans and provide care with compassion and respect.
• Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Must be CHHA certified in the state of NJ

Must have the following

• hha license in nj
• physical within the last year
• mmr immunization
• ppd immunization
• 2 forms of id
• be able to pass a drug test/background check at any given time
