Salary Range: $115,000–$165,000 Annually

Job Summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Looker Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications and services using the technology stack relevant to the project. The work spans implementation, API and data integration, code quality, release readiness, and production troubleshooting. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Looker, LookML, explores, semantic modeling, SQL, governed metrics, and dashboard development, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using the approved technology stack.

• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.

• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems using appropriate standards.

• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance improvement.

• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams through release and production support.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: typically 4+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.

• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: Looker, LookML, explores, semantic modeling, SQL, governed metrics, and dashboard development.

• Professional experience building or supporting production software using the core technologies relevant to this role.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and appropriate testing practices.

• Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system and structured development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
