Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana, is establishing the Institute of Health Improvement and Longevity to transform lifestyle-drive care and cognitive health. We seek a second Functional Medicine Physician to join a core interdisciplinary team, delivering evidence-informed prevention-focused care across adulthood.

Collaborate with geriatricians, specialists, psychologists, therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and nurses to maximize health span, reduce disease risk, and improve quality

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Preventive Medicine.
• Preference for Functional/Integrative/Lifestyle Medicine training or nutrition.
• Experience with chronic inflammatory, autoimmune, metabolic, hormonal, or GI disorders.
• Interest in longevity medicine, cognitive health, and healthy aging.
• Commitment to preventive, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed medical evaluations including lifestyle, environmental, nutritional, metabolic, and psychosocial assessments.
• Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based functional medicine principles and precision medicine approaches.
• Interpret advanced laboratory testing and incorporate findings into treatment plans.
• Provide longitudinal care with emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and sustainable lifestyle change.
• Collaborate with patients to establish measurable health goals and monitor outcomes.
• Prescribe medications, nutritional therapies, supplements, and other treatments when indicated.
