ACCEL Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute Teacher for Youngstown Academy of Excellence in Youngstown, Ohio. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, differentiating instruction, and tracking student progress for EK-8 students.

A current Ohio teaching license and a bachelor’s degree in education or related field are required. The incumbent will collaborate with families, use approved curricula reflecting diverse backgrounds, and integrate technology in daily instruction.

Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Comfort with growth-focused coaching based on observations and action planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Ability to supervise students of various ages in different school settings.
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
