Las Lomitas Elementary School District is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher to join our team at La Entrada School in Menlo Park. This assignment begins as soon as possible and is expected to continue through October 15, 2026.
The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Compensation is $240 per day, increasing to $470.27 per day after 20 consecutive days in the assignment, retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
The substitute will teach Spanish elective classes for students in grades 6–8. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with middle school students and can create an engaging, supportive classroom environment while helping students build their Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills. A Spanish teaching credential and/or strong Spanish language skills are highly desired.
Applicants must hold a valid California teaching credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. Credentialed teachers are preferred. Candidates must also meet applicable fingerprint clearance and TB requirements.
