Applitrack is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Special Ed Educational Assistant - PCA for Greenvale Park Elementary. The role runs 11/17/2026 through 12/22/2026, full-time, 6.75 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Under licensed staff supervision, you will assist students with daily living, health tasks, and mobility, while implementing behavior plans and supporting instruction with our special education team.

Possess at least two years of college credits (60 credits) through an accredited institution, an associate's or higher degree, or a passing score on an approved assessment demonstrating the ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics, and school readiness (the district can provide support for candidates needing to complete the assessment). Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of child development and behavioral management strategies, skills in building positive rapport with students and adapting instruction to individual needs, and the ability to remain calm while managing challenging behaviors. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a special education team and maintain confidentiality in accordance with district policies.
$22.30/hr. - $23.98/hr.

Under the direction of licensed special education staff, the Educational Assistant - Personal Care Assistant provides meaningful support to students with special needs by assisting with daily living activities, health-related functions, and mobility throughout the school day.
