Middletown Public Schools seeks a Long Term Substitute - Music Teacher for Macdonough Elementary School (Macdonough .9 FTE / Legacy .1 FTE). The role requires a BA/BS and at least 12 credits in the content area; 049 (Music) preferred.

Salary starts at $142 per day for the first 60 days, then increases to the Bachelor's, Step 3 daily rate from day 61, with benefits available on day 61 per the MFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Assignment through late Oct/Early Nov.

Responsibilities

• Teach music to students at Macdonough Elementary School.
• Deliver instruction during the Long Term Substitute assignment.

Long Term Substitute - Music Teacher

Location:

Macdonough Elementary School (Macdonough .9 FTE /Legacy .1 FTE)

Minimum Requirement for Long- Term Substitute Authorization:

• BA/BS
• At least 12 credits in the content/area to be taught (If individual classroom assignment extends beyond 60 days)

Preferred Certification:

• 049 (Music)

Salary:

$142 per day for the first 60 days, then salary increased to Bachelor's, Step 3 daily rate starting the 61st day. Entitled to benefits on 61st day as in accordance to the MFT Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Assignment Duration:

Immediately through late October/Early November (This duration is just an estimate.)

Start and end time:

8:35 a.m. - 4:01 p.m.
