The Pocono Mountain School District wishes to inform you of the following posted Long-term substitute position (LTS) for the second semester of the 26-27 school year (approximately January 22 - June 3).

• LTS General Science Teacher
• WHS

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references and related experience, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current educational research, and successfully complete a series of interviews along with meeting all local requirements.

• PA Standard Teaching Application;
• Letter of Interest;
• Resume;
• Three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year);
• Copy of Teaching Certificate;
• Copy of college/university transcripts.
• Internal candidates (FULL-TIME PMSD EMPLOYEES)need only submit a current resume and letter of interest electronically to Dr. Courtney Burrus, Chief Human Resources Officer,via the applicant systemto be considered complete.
• The successful candidate will be required to provide the following documents: Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
