Job summary

Fairfield Ludlowe High School is seeking a LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE in Mathematics with duties including Calculus and AP Calculus instruction. The ideal candidate holds CT Certification (029) for secondary mathematics (grades 7-12) and has proven experience teaching calculus.

The substitute will work December 1, 2026 through January 4, 2027, reporting to the Building Administrator. This assignment is coordinated through the district Applitrack system and requires professional instructional skills in

Qualifications

• CT Certification 029 for secondary mathematics (7-12) is required.
• Experience teaching Calculus and AP Calculus is required.
• Long-term substitute eligibility and classroom teaching skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Help students learn through effective instructional skills and subject matter knowledge.
• Deliver mathematics instruction including Calculus and AP Calculus during the assignment.
• Coordinate with the Building Administrator and follow district policies.
