Under the direction of the Classroom Teacher, the paraprofessional provides comprehensive direct care and instructional services for students with disabilities and functions as a member of the educational team.

Knowledge, expertise and experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis
Experience with Discrete Trials Training
Expertise and Experience in working with students with social-emotional disabilities and mental health needs. Knowledge base with curriculum and practices such as as social thinking, zones of regulation
Expertise and Experience in working with students with multiple disabilities and developmental disabilities; knowledge, expertise and experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis, experience with Discrete Trial Training. Comfort with hands-on care inclusive of support of tasks of daily living.
Expertise and Experience in working with students with language based learning disabilities. Experience in working with evidence-based reading instruction methodologies such as Wilson, Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood Bell as
