Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5 – 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students' active engagement in the learning process.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Instrumental Music with strong content knowledge, teaching experience, and the confidence to instruct students in grades 5–8. The ideal candidate is skilled in teaching beginning through advanced musicians across brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Ideally, candidates are comfortable with technology, committed to collaboration, and eager to join a community always looking to improve instructional practices. This position includes directing the winter concert.

Pay

• Pay from $270 (base long term-sub) - $405.51 (teaching certification and Masters - 10+ years experience) per day dependent on certification and experience
• Eligible to contribute to a 403(b) retirement plan
