Job summary

Qualifications

• North Dakota Substitute Teaching License required.
• North Dakota Teaching License preferred.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Long-term Substitute covers the absence of the classroom educator and provides instruction and assistance to learners.
• Manages classroom activities and behaviors to support an engaging, safe learning environment.
• Collects behavior data and updates teachers on progress toward goals.
• Follows district curriculum and established proficiency scales to meet learning targets.

Education

North Dakota Substitute Teaching License

North Dakota Teaching License (preferred)

Prior teaching experience
