Job summary

Amherst Central Schools seeks an anticipated long-term substitute Teaching Assistant-Special Education at Windermere Boulevard School. The role runs 30 hours per week with a schedule covering November 30, 2026 through January 8, 2027 (tentative).

Candidates must have a valid teaching assistant certification or NYS teaching certification (or be working toward one) and be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education. Experience with elementary students is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid TEACHING ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION OR NYS TEACHER CERTIFICATION OR working towards either certification.
• Experience working with elementary students preferred (K-5).
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education.
