Job summary

Paragon Science Academy in Chandler, AZ is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Teacher to lead 6th–12th Grade Spanish classes. This in-person role requires a bachelor’s degree and strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

You will deliver daily Spanish instruction, maintain attendance and grades, provide feedback, and collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure instructional continuity. This is a full-time, 1099 contractor position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Secondary Spanish teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable.
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $190.00 per day, paid bi-weekly.
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Benefits are not included.

• Paragon Science Academy, Chandler, AZ 85224. In-Person. Full-Time.
• Monday through Friday.
