Job summary

Merryhill Preschool is seeking compassionate staff to support classroom instruction across Infant to School-Age groups. You will assist with routines, supervision, meals, transitions, and play-based learning to foster independence and growth.

Collaborate with teaching teams, follow established lesson plans, and maintain a clean, safe classroom. The role emphasizes warm interactions with children and families and offers opportunities for professional development and pathway to full-time

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• PDIS Level 2 or higher required.
• Six months experience in a licensed childcare program.
• Able to adapt to different ages, teaching styles and needs.
• Strong communication, reliability, and a warm, caring presence.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting aligned with school expectations
• Collaborate with teaching teams and follow established lesson plans and schedules
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Model professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to jump in where needed

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have an awarded High School Diploma or GED.
• Awarded PDIS Level 2 or higher
• 6 months previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare program.
• Ability to adapt to different age groups, teaching styles, and classroom needs
• Strong communication, reliability, and a warm, caring presence
• Authorization to work in the United States
