Job summary

DocStar Medical Partners in Modesto, CA, seeks an MD/DO with MFM experience for a 12-month locum position with extension potential. Credentialing may take 60–90 days for clean files, longer for blemishes, with a 7am rounds start and 8am–5pm schedule.

No weekends, after-hours call is by phone, and there is a preference for 3 weeks full-time coverage. The role requires active CA medical license and board certification, with Cerner EMR experience desirable.

Qualifications

• MFM experience required; new grads considered.
• CA medical license active or transfer in process.
• Board certification in obstetrics preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• 12-month assignment with extension possible.

Responsibilities

• Bread-and-butter MFM coverage; no births.
• 8:00–17:00 with rounds at 7:00; after-hours call by phone.
• No weekends; may do 1–3 days per month, prefer 3 weeks full-time.
• Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days for clean files; 120 days with blemishes.
