Job summary

Lakeland Joint School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Math Teacher at Lakeland Middle School (6-8) for the 2026-27 school year. The substitute will cover a math class from November through February, supporting grade 6-8 students with instruction and classroom routines.

Pay:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students in classroom, small group, and one-on-one settings
• Ability to follow lesson plans and directions provided by the classroom teacher, principal, and Guest Teacher Coordinator
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Teaching certificate is encouraged but not required
