This full-time, on-site role requires a bachelor’s degree, the ability to teach grammar-level courses, strong parent communication, and a commitment to the school's core virtues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to teach grammar-level courses preferred.
• Commitment to Hillsdale College's K12 Program and core virtues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit and lesson plans aligned with Hillsdale College's K12 Program Guide.
• Teach and mentor students using classical pedagogy methods.
• Collect, grade and return work in a timely manner.
• Proctor or supervise tests on the annual testing cycle.
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support as needed.
• Collaborate with Student Services on IEPs/504s.
• Communicate regularly with parents, usually weekly.
• Assist in daily school operations on a shared schedule.
• Participate in professional development offered by ACACS and Hillsdale K12 Office.
