Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; online professional development within 60 days.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to communicate effectively with staff.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication with administrators and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and interventions.
• Implement small group instruction based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and assistants to support learners.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records using technology.
• Prepare materials for instructional units and displays.
• Escort and supervise students between rooms.
