Job summary

Coastal Manor is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide resident care and manage nursing processes for adolescents, adults, and geriatric residents. The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care while referring complex issues to the Director of Nursing.

The role includes supervising licensed staff during assigned shifts and reporting to the Nursing Director. A Georgia nursing license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing.
• Formal training in clinical nursing competence.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Georgia; BLS certification.
• Advanced technical nursing skills and nursing process knowledge.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care activities to residents receiving services.

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, prioritize, plan, deliver, and evaluate adolescent, adult and geriatric population responses. Refers unusual clinical and administrative problems to the Director of Nursing. Responsible for supervision of professional and skilled personnel during an assigned shift. The position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing.
• Formal Training: Clinical competence in nursing.
• Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS certification required.
• Work Experience: Advanced technical nursing skills. Intermediate knowledge of the nursing process. Basic computer skills required.
