Job summary

Monarchmn is seeking a Long-Term Care Pathway Intern to provide essential support to facility departments while gaining exposure to non-clinical healthcare careers. The role includes assisting with dining services and recreational programming, promoting resident dignity and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will work closely with staff to enhance the resident experience and engage in diverse tasks that foster learning in a long-term care environment. A commitment to resident care and cooperation with the team is essential.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with older adults and individuals with illnesses or disabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dining room setup, meal service, tray assembly, and tray delivery.
• Support implementation of daily activities and programs for residents.
• Maintain accurate participation records and communicate concerns to appropriate staff.
