Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) LPN for a contract-full-time role. The LPN will assist the care team in delivering care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility, demonstrating clinical judgment, critical thinking, and coordination of patient care with supervision.

Requirements include an active LPN license for the state, current BLS, and completion of required screenings.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Successful completion of screening tests with 80%+ in the clinical specialty area.
• Amergis Background Screening Process completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Pay: $43 / Hour

Hours: 37.50

Location: Lafayette, IN

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS card

• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinicalspecialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater

• Successful completion of Amergis Background ScreeningProcess

• Must be at least 18 years of age
