Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Long Term Care (LTC) LPN for a contract-full-time position in Cromwell, CT. The LPN will support the care team in delivering patient care in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living setting, demonstrating clinical judgment, critical thinking, and coordination of care with supervision.

The role requires a current CT LPN license, BLS, health certificate (if applicable), and successful completion of required screenings.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for CT state
• Health certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Amergis background screening clearance
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay: $42 / Hour

Hours: 36.00

Location: Cromwell, CT

The Long Term Care LPN assists the care team in the deliveryof care for patients in a Long Term Care/Assisted Living Facility. The nursedemonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficientmanner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilityin the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state inwhich the nurse practices
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS card
• Successful completion of screening tests for the clinicalspecialty area(s) in which the LPN practices with a score of 80% or greater
• Successful completion of Amergis Background ScreeningProcess
• Must be at least 18 years of age
