• Food safe certificate is required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility or similar setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality meals for residents in a timely manner.
• Direct, evaluate, and discipline Dietary Assistants as needed.
• Monitor dietary operations to ensure quality of service.
• Plan menus and ensure supplies are available and prepared on time.
• Prepare foods according to standard recipes and special diets.
• Maintain meal quality, temperature, and presentation throughout service.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently.
