Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a dedicated CDL A driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples where applicable, delivering between service centers and turn-point locations.

You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and comply with DOT regulations while handling freight securely. Overnight trips and variable hours are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for double/triple, hazmat, and tank vehicles (auto transmission allowed).
• Minimum one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.
• MVR must meet company and DOT compliance.
• Ability to hook trailers and lift about 100 lbs, good communication.
• Independent worker, ability to follow instructions and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer units, including doubles and triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies, verify required documentation, and maintain logs.
• Follow hazmat regulations and dispatch instructions, communicate effectively, and handle loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies; perform additional duties as needed.
