Blockchain is seeking a Trader for its Market Making desk in London. You will run, analyze, and improve automated liquidity strategies while collaborating with clients to grow enterprise value.

The role blends trading, quantitative research, and commercial focus, with coding in Python, Rust, and/or SQL. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in market making or quantitative trading, strong market knowledge, and a commercially driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in market making or quantitative trading on an institutional desk
• Commercially aware, fast-paced and intense
• Strong understanding of financial markets, DeFi, algorithmic trading, and crypto TGEs/listing structures
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, AI tooling and SQL

Responsabilités

• Work with experienced traders in a fast-paced environment
• Manage risk and ideate trading strategies across DeFi, market making, and yield strategies
• Collaborate with trading and sales to drive commercials and bring in new business
• Configure and tune strategy parameters in response to market conditions
• Build infrastructure and initiatives to enhance desk value for clients
