Job summary

Security Equipment Supply, Inc. (SES) is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Detroit, MI area. The role centers on delivering high customer service standards through efficient logistics and sales support in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain a clean showroom and warehouse, complete regulatory trainings, and coordinate with management to ensure accurate order fulfillment, stock handling, and safety compliance. SES offers growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of low voltage products preferred.
• Must be committed to providing exceptional service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining SES standards.
• Maintain clean showroom and warehouse aligned with safety and appearance standards.
• Complete required training (Hazmat, forklift) as needed.
• Communicate with Branch and Corporate Management on outcomes, discrepancies, and safety concerns.
• Process shipping: pull and store will-call orders, ensure quality control, package products securely, enter shipping data into SES system.
• Process receiving: verify quantities, inspect for damage, enter products into ERP, stock items, rotate products, follow non-stock item policies.
• Stock showroom shelves daily and organize displays; ensure labeling and inventory accuracy.
• Support merchandising and housekeeping: maintain showroom appearance, manage trash, keep warehouse clean.
