Job summary

Green Plains Inc. seeks a diligent operator to load and unload ethanol and distiller’s grains, weighing and grading raw materials and final products. You will ensure quality, maintain records, and coordinate with maintenance and production to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced plant environment. Familiarity with grain receiving software and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in grain receiving and grading preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Excellent Microsoft Office software skills.
• Maintain regulatory understanding of FRA, TTB and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure grain is of acceptable quality and meets specifications as outlined in the purchase contract and reject shipments of grain not meeting standards.
• Timely loading/unloading of all ethanol, distiller’s grains, and other products by railcar and truck.
• Proper completion of all records related to the products loaded for shipment from the plant site.
• Enter all customer and product data into grain receiving software.
• Communicate with Production Department to ensure the timely unloading of products received.
• Keep the plant in a tour ready condition and maintain cleanliness.
