Summary of Role
The Logistics team at GF is currently seeking a professional to support the teams within the different warehouse areas and on‑site Operations. The candidate’s core responsibilities are to work efficiently and safely in a warehouse environment to provide the FAB with materials to meet the company’s goals. This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires working assigned shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules based on operational needs.
Depending on business needs and project assignments, this role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a government‑issued security clearance.
Essential Functions
Required Skills
- Basic reading, writing and counting comprehension skills
- Basic computer navigation skills (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office, Oracle, X‑Site, Outlook)
- Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks
- Perform work activities safely and responsibly in line with all FAB8 EHS&S policies
- Work independently and collaboratively with teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Support and engage in training activities
- Effectively communicate end‑of‑shift pass‑downs
- Use time management to prioritize and plan daily work and scheduled activities
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to the assigned area
- Must be trained in multiple areas
- Occasionally required to work in a clean‑room environment; comfortable wearing a clean‑room suit for an extended period of time (depending on location)
Physical Capacity
- Work in a standing position for >85% of a 12‑hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Walk on uneven surfaces for >85% of a 12‑hour shift
- Lift, pull, and/or carry at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift
- Use a computer (typing, visual screen time) for >85% of a 12‑hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements (depending on job role)
- Answer the phone professionally
- Wear upgraded PPE in accordance with GF safety procedures (e.g., safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hard hat, safety vest)
- Work in a chemical warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment including elevated heights (wearing harness and fall protection)
- Bend, crouch, and reach under racks (50–75% of a 12‑hour shift)
- Work outside (including inclement weather) less than 25% of the shift
- Possess and maintain a current CDL, satisfying all DOT qualification standards, including medical certification and drug and alcohol testing requirements

- Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment to meet deadlines
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, learning, and skills development
- Count large amounts to maintain stock accuracy
- Use troubleshooting and structured problem‑solving techniques
- Work outside in inclement weather if required by job duties

Other Responsibilities
- Perform all activities safely and responsibly and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and kneel as required
- Valid New York State driver’s license
- Stand for long periods of time (excluding breaks)
- Operate company vehicles (non‑CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse environment; comfortable around heavy equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.)
- Use equipment for packing, wrapping, and crating material
- Familiar with Lean processes – 6S and Kaizen
- Follow detailed instructions and processes to complete tasks
- Strong team player; works well within a global team

Alternating Week Shift Schedules
- Week 1 – Week 2 schedule:
- Day shift (A): Sunday–Wednesday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM; Week 2: Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Night shift (B): Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM; Week 2: Sunday–Tuesday + Saturday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Day shift (C): Thursday–Saturday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM; Week 2: Wednesday–Saturday 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Night shift (D): Wednesday–Saturday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM; Week 2: Wednesday–Friday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Shift schedules are subject to change.
Expected Salary Range
$37,500.00 – $63,000.00. Exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location.
