Job summary

Amentum is seeking a warehouse/logistics professional to manage packaging, handling, storage and transportation tasks in line with project requirements. The role includes scheduling pickups, preparing shipments, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with client standards.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in logistics, experience with PHS&T equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and proficiency in MS Office and Maximo. Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and lift 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a logistics or supply position.
• Experience operating general PHS&T equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel and Maximo.

Essential Functions

• All aspects of Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T)to includematerial handling and physical inventory and pick-up and delivery of items to include bulk cargo.
• Schedule pick-up and delivery around customer requirements and mission support.
• Prepare items for shipment to include packaging and generating documentation.
• Stock maintenancefunctions toinclude straightening items on shelves, orienting bin labels, stacking items onpalletsand shelves.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment byperformgeneral housekeepingfunctionto include but not limited to; sweeping, dusting, mopping, warehouse andoperatingcommercial floor scrubber.
• Ensure the deliverables meet client expectations with high professionalism,punctuality& quality.
• Perform quality check on sensitive, perishable, pilferable,climate controlledand fragile assets. Rotate assets to ensure adequate consumption of shelf-life assets.
• Safelyoperatewarehouse equipment and delivery vehicles. Perform operator checks on vehicles and mechanized material handling equipment suchas;forklifts, warehouse stackers, PalletJacksand transport equipment.
• Assistwith inventory counts andreportingdiscrepancies of equipment and consumable assets.
• Participate in meetings with clients and/or team to provide solutions in resolving issues
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including documentation and inventory tracking.
• Selects and retrieves products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years ofexperience ina logisticsor supplyposition.
• Experienceoperatinggeneral PHS&T equipmentsuch as:forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, hand tools,etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook,Word and Exceland Maximo

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
• Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Capable of continuous, non-sedentary tasks.
• Must be able to obtain andmaintaina DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization.
• Valid U.S. (Class E) Driver’s Licenserequired.
• SalarydeterminedbyCollective Bargaining Agreement.

Compensation Details:

$29.82 hourly
