Milo’s Tea Company in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a reliable forklift operator to move finished product from production to storage areas. You will perform pre-shift inspections, ensure FIFO, operate low-lift trucks safely, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
• A valid driver's license and forklift and electric pallet jack certification required upon job placement.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-shift inspection of forklifts and submit required daily inspection paperwork.
• Ensure proper rotation of product using FIFO system.
• Operate forklifts safely (powered or manual low-lift trucks).
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness per SQF guidelines.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed for pre/post shift activities.
• Log finished product in inventory when placed on cooler racks.
